Manning typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Atlantic Collegiate Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victor by a 70-49 margin over the Manning Monarchs. The Armada have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Jamie Brooks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last four games he's played. Jaylen Bellamy was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 13 points.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Despite the loss, Manning saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lovell Stevenson went 7 for 14 on his way to 15 points along with seven boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Taivon Carter, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Manning, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-4.

Atlantic Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 72-51 win against Lake City on the 31st. Manning has also already played their next game, a 60-54 victory against Mullins on the 31st.
