Basketball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee lost against Milton back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to the Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Milton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Cherokee will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. The Warriors will be up against the Chiefs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Milton, they will square off against Decatur at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
