Baseball Recap: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clayton, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Carrboro Jaguars by a score of 5-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Jaylen Harris, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Leonardo Miramontes Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
