Recap: Sanford-Fritch Eagles vs. Stratford Elks
This season hasn't been kind to The Sanford-Fritch Eagles, who are still winless after their eighth game. They took a serious blow against Stratford on Friday, falling 69-0. Sanford-Fritch has struggled against Stratford recently, as their match on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Chase Lantelme was the offensive standout of the contest as he threw for 114 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also picked up 62 receiving yards. Julio Valdez also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Panhandle presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sanford-Fritch in Texas (Panhandle is ranked 328th, while Sanford-Fritch is ranked 1143rd). As for Stratford, they will head out on the road to face off against Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland Park has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 359 points over their last eight games.
