Football Recap: Rock Falls Takes a Loss

Rock Falls lost against North Boone back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets fell 21-14 to the Vikings.

North Boone got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Connor Chamberlain out in front who rushed for 39 yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Chamberlain a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Jaziah Howard did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 92 receiving yards.

Rock Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Boone, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Falls is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Boone, they will challenge St. Bede at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
