After a string of 14 wins, Randleman's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered since August 27th.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 26-24.

Randleman's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Southwestern Randolph, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Randleman will face off against Ledford at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will venture away from home to face off against Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
