Basketball Recap: Creighton Comes Up Short

Creighton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 63-54 to the North Central Knights. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 56-36 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Creighton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for North Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-10.

Creighton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. As for North Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against St. Mary's at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
