North Pocono dropped their record down to 7-3 on Thursday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

North Pocono saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rory McAndrew, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games.

On Plymouth Whitemarsh's side, Jake Rauscher looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

Looking ahead, North Pocono will head out on the road to challenge Scranton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Knights have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Quakertown at 3:45 p.m.
