Baseball Recap: North Tahoe Comes Up Short

North Tahoe came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Yerington Lions, falling 16-8. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 9-8.

Leyton Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Alexis Ibarra, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
