Basketball Recap: Wilcox Central Takes a Loss

Wilcox Central was the 61-52 winner over Jackson when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The Wilcox Central Jaguars took a blow against the Jackson Aggies on Wednesday, falling 73-36.

Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keeyun Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. Landon Duckworth was another key player, going 8 of 9 on his way to 21 points and eight boards.

Wilcox Central's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Jackson, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

As of now, neither Wilcox Central nor Jackson have any future games scheduled.
