Volleyball Recap: Kamryn Resurreccion's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Cathedral Prep over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin

Cathedral Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ramblers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Cathedral Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kamryn Resurreccion, who had 15 assists and five digs. She has been hot, having posted 15 or more assists the last six times she's played.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Loeser, who had 12 digs.

Cathedral Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Cathedral Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against St. Mary's on the 22nd. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Olmsted Falls on the 20th.
