Softball Recap: Christ the King Comes Up Short

The Christ the King Crusaders lost 17-10 to the Cox Mill Chargers on Thursday. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christ the King's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Cox Mill, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christ the King will challenge Corvian Community at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cox Mill, they will take on Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cox Mill's pitchers better be ready for this one: Lake Norman has averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
