Basketball Recap: Ubly Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Ubly had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the North Huron Warriors 49-23. That's more bragging rights for the Bearcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, North Huron still got an impressive performance from Jenna Schornack, who posted six points and five rebounds. Schornack has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

Ubly pushed their record up to 8-14 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points over those games. As for North Huron, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

Ubly has already played their next match, a 41-28 victory against Deckerville on the 7th. North Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
