Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Geneva). They blew past the Midlakes Screaming Eagles 67-44 on Friday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Screaming Eagles are ranked 503rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Geneva, bringing their record for this year to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Midlakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geneva will face off against Mynderse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Midlakes has already played their next contest (against Waterloo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
