Football Recap: Steele Comes Up Short

If Steele was feeling good fresh off their 34-0 takedown of North Olmsted last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets and the Berea-Midpark Titans were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Comets suffered a 20-19 defeat. The game was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Comets couldn't quite close it out.

Steele's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Berea-Midpark, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Steele will face off against rival Avon Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Berea-Midpark is set to square off against their familiar foe Midview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
