Divine Child waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Dearborn Pioneers. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

Divine Child's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Dearborn, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Divine Child and Dearborn could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 115th) will meet Lutheran North (ranked 12th) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dearborn will take on Mott at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (405 vs. 154).
