Baseball Recap: Central Dauphin Rams vs. State College Little Lions
Central Dauphin put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They blew past the State College Little Lions 12-1. Winning may never get old, but Central Dauphin sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Nate Payne made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Payne has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Payne was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with a home run and five RBI.
In other batting news, Jace Collins was excellent, going 3-for-4 with a stolen base and two RBI. Alex Scaringi was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
