Basketball Game Preview: Round Mountain Knights vs. Smith Valley Bulldogs

The Round Mountain Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Smith Valley Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Round Mountain's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four contests, but Saturday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Round Mountain's tournament run continued when they took on Eureka on Friday. Round Mountain was beaten by Eureka 64-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Smith Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 41-30 win over Pahranagat Valley on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Smith Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Round Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Round Mountain didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Smith Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 36-32 win. Will Round Mountain repeat their success, or does Smith Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
