Softball Recap: A.L. Brown Takes a Loss

A.L. Brown and Hough squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but A.L. Brown had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 7-5. The Wonders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Marynda Blackwelder was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Isabella Butler also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

A.L. Brown now has a losing record of 9-10-1. As for Hough, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

As of now, neither A.L. Brown nor Hough have any future games scheduled.
