 Tuesday just wasn't the day for Triangle Math & Science's offense. They lost  16-0 to the Chatham Charter Knights on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11  runs in the game before, Triangle Math & Science's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Triangle Math & Science saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aayan Subzwari, who  went 1-for-2 with a  double.
 On Chatham Charter's side,  Aidan Allred was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Allred was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 In other pitching news,  Brandon Rives and  Westin Phillips dominated on the mound. Rives scored a  run while going 2-for-2, while  Phillips  pitched  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Rives has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Jonah Ridgill was a standout: he scored four  runs while going 2-for-3.  Jace Young was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Triangle Math & Science's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Chatham Charter, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record  this season.
 Triangle Math & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chatham Charter, they will be playing at home against Clover Garden School at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Clover Garden School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.9  runs per game  this season.
