Ryle extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 21-8-1 in the process. Everything went their way against the Woodford County Yellowjackets as they made off with a 10-2 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Woodford County, they moved to 23-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.86 runs allowed.

For Woodford County's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justus Wertzler, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Coming up, Ryle will head out on the road to challenge Frederick Douglass at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The last five games the Broncos have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Woodford County, they will take on Paul Laurence Dunbar at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
