Volleyball Recap: Delta Has No Trouble Against Daleville

Delta's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Daleville Broncos. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Delta was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15, 25-10.

Kate Manor was nothing short of spectacular: she had seven digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Baylee Rich was another key player, getting 11 digs and two aces.

Delta's record now sits at 3-1. As for Daleville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Delta is taking a road trip to challenge Greenfield-Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Daleville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Muncie Burris at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
