Volleyball Recap: Plattsmouth Takes a Loss

Plattsmouth lost against Ashland-Greenwood back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Bluejays.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-7.

Olivia Deges paced Plattsmouth's offense, picking up two kills. Deges got some help from Addison Robinson and her three assists.

Ashland-Greenwood found their leader in sophomore Averi Bridges, who had five aces and two assists.

Plattsmouth dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ashland-Greenwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Plattsmouth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Auburn on the 4th. As for Ashland-Greenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Roncalli Catholic on the 4th.
