Basketball Recap: Waccamaw's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carolina Forest, Waccamaw was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They rang in the new year with a 35-25 win over the Cane Bay Cobras.

Waccamaw's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Cane Bay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waccamaw will face off against Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cane Bay, they will venture away from home to take on James Island at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
