Soccer Recap: Vintage Find Success

After losing to Casa Grande the last time they met, Vintage decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vintage Crushers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Casa Grande Gauchos on Tuesday. Henry Drozdowicz had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Crushers.

Vintage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. As for Casa Grande, they now have a losing record at 4-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vintage will venture away from home to challenge Justin-Siena at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Casa Grande, they will head out to face off against Napa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Napa's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
