Volleyball Recap: Harper Creek Extends Winning Streak to Three

Harper Creek entered their tilt with Mt. Pleasant on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Oilers. For the Beavers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Oilers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2017.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Harper Creek who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 22-25, 15-9.

Camille Robinson paced Harper Creek's offense, picking up 20 kills. Robinson got some help from Andersyn King and her 31 assists.

Harper Creek's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 25-5-1.

Harper Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Roscommon on the 11th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Davison at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
