Volleyball Recap: Harper Creek's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Harper Creek had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mt. Pleasant Oilers. This was payback for the Beavers, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Harper Creek got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 15-9.

Camille Robinson paced Harper Creek's offense, picking up 20 kills. Robinson got some help from Andersyn King and her 31 assists.

Despite the loss, Mt. Pleasant still got an impressive performance from Kharman Loya, who had 14 digs.

Harper Creek's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 26-6-1.

Harper Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Roscommon on the 11th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Davison on the 22nd.
