Softball Recap: Phillips Takes a Loss

Phillips was the 6-5 winner over Rib Lake when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Loggers took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Redmen on Monday. The Loggers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Rib Lake, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Rib Lake didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-2 defeat against Tomahawk on the 7th. Hopefully Phillips paid attention to the Redmen's match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Redmen at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
