Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Wildorado couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 63-50 to the Valley Patriots on Friday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Valley was led to victory by Corbin Taylor and Kanyon Taylor. Corbin dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards, while Kanyon almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. Corbin has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tailor Green, who posted four points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals.

Wildorado's defeat dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-3 record this season.

Wildorado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 58-37 victory against Garden City on the 3rd.
