Football Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 38 points the game before, Centennial was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a blow against Hood River Valley, falling 36-8. If Centennial was looking for revenge after losing 46-6 to Hood River Valley when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Justin Shellito threw for 114 yards on nine of 19 attempts. Timothy Petriyenko was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.

Bam Layna went supernova For Hood River Valley., rushing for 99 yards and one score on only 13 carries. That's the most rushing yards Layna has posted since back in October of 2024.

Centennial now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hood River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.
