Volleyball Recap: MAST Charter II Has No Trouble Against Frankford

MAST Charter II had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Frankford on Wednesday. MAST Charter II was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Frankford. The match marked the Voyagers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

MAST Charter II was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16, 25-20.

Johan Rodriguez Conde paced MAST Charter II's offense, picking up seven kills. Rodriguez Conde got some help from Jhosua Pou and his ten assists. Adrian Rojas Silva controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

MAST Charter II pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Frankford, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MAST Charter II will venture away from home to challenge Holy Ghost Prep at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Frankford and Kensington will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
