Basketball Game Preview: Southeastern Prep Academy Falcons vs. Fivay Falcons

The Southeastern Prep Academy Falcons and the Fivay Falcons will round out the year against one another at at 9:55 a.m. on Friday. Southeastern Prep Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Southeastern Prep Academy took on NC GBB Academy National last Sunday. Southeastern Prep Academy fell 55-48 to NC GBB Academy National. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 262nd in Florida, while the Eagles are ranked 19th in North Carolina).

The losing side was boosted by Zora Jackson, who went 7 of 11 on her way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiya Swift, who posted five points along with seven assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, Fivay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 51-22 loss at the hands of Springstead. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fivay's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Southeastern Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
