Basketball Recap: East Liverpool Comes Up Short

East Liverpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 52-28 to the Oak Glen Golden Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Potters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-40 back in December of 2024.

East Liverpool's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Oak Glen, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

East Liverpool will be playing in front of their home fans against United at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oak Glen, they will square off against Linsly at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
