Softball Game Preview: Centennial Huskies vs. Great Oak Wolfpack

The Centennial Huskies will start their season against the Great Oak Wolfpack. First pitch is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Great Oak narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Temescal Canyon 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.

Great Oak's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

As for Centennial, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (7-12-1), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Centennial suffered a grim 10-4 defeat to Great Oak in their previous meeting back in March of 2018. Can Centennial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
