Football Recap: Northwest Beats Concordia for Their Third Straight Victory

Northwest extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They walked away with a 36-26 victory over the Concordia Fighting Orioles. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 37-0 win the Fighting Orioles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Concordia fell to 2-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Concordia still got an impressive performance from Nephi Hon, who rushed for 140 yards and three scores.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northwest will challenge rival Sweet Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Concordia is set to face off against their familiar foe Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
