Basketball Game Preview: Graves County Eagles vs. Marshall County Marshals

Graves County and Marshall County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Graves County Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marshall County Marshals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Graves County sitting on 16 straight wins and Marshall County on six.

Last Monday, Graves County was fully in charge, breezing past Murray 55-20. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Marshall County beat Hopkins County Central 55-50 on Monday.

Graves County's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.4 points. As for Marshall County, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.
