Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwestern). Everything went their way against the Ashland Oredockers on Tuesday as they made off with a 20-1 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Oredockers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Ellie Peterson made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Claire Nielsen was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Quincy Olson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
