Baseball Recap: Jim Ned Takes a Loss

Jim Ned lost against Clyde last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jim Ned saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Watson, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Jim Ned's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Clyde, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5-1.

Coming up, Jim Ned will challenge Wall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Clyde, they will square off against San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
