Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Leadership Tigers vs. Red Oak Hawks

The Trinity Leadership Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Red Oak Hawks at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity Leadership has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Trinity Leadership's tournament run continued when they took on Greenhill last Friday. Trinity Leadership lost 15-3 to Greenhill. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 12 runs.

Reuben Mosley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-1.

Even though they lost, Trinity Leadership always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Red Oak's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Midlothian Heritage on Friday. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-10. As for Trinity Leadership, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6-1.
