Volleyball Game Preview: Lindbergh Flyers vs. Farmington Knights

The Lindbergh Flyers will take on the Farmington Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lindbergh can't be too worried about heading out to take on Farmington: they just beat Rockwood Summit at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Flyers won by a set and slipped past the Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Flyers have posted since October 4th.

Lindbergh was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Farmington earned a 2-0 win over North County on Wednesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Farmington easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14.

Farmington's win bumped their record up to 22-7-1. As for Lindbergh, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14-1.

Lindbergh skirted past Farmington 2-1 in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Will the Flyers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
