Baseball Recap: Goshen Comes Up Short

Goshen was the 12-0 winner over Zion Chapel when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Rebels on Thursday, falling 14-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Rebels since March 18, 2016.

Goshen has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Zion Chapel, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rebels beat Goshen by a score of 13-2 on Friday.
