Basketball Recap: Eupora Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Eupora lost against Okolona back in December of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eupora Eagles fell 67-58 to the Okolona Chieftains. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eupora's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5. As for Okolona, they pushed their record up to 3-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Eupora will take on Bruce in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eupora knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Bruce likes a good challenge. Okolona has already played their next matchup, a 69-59 win against Amory on the 16th.
