Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Grace Christian Academy lost against Christian Academy of Knoxville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grace Christian Academy Rams fell to the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors 58-54. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christian Academy of Knoxville was led to victory by Foster Coleman and Caden Owens. Coleman went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds, while Owens went 7 of 17 on his way to 19 points. Coleman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hunter Bennett, who posted nine points.

Grace Christian Academy now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Grace Christian Academy will welcome King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will head out on the road to take on Lakeway Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
