Ridgeview had lost ten games straight , but after bumping their record up to 8-14-1 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Iroquois West Raiders 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Ridgeview let Owen Grice and Aiden Neuhaus run wild. Grice went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Neuhaus went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three runs gave Grice a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Crowley, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Ridgeview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
As for Iroquois West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
