Baseball Recap: Manitou Springs Comes Up Short

Manitou Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-4 to the Cleveland Warriors.

Manitou Springs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Warner, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Evan Johnson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Manitou Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cleveland, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Manitou Springs will take on Paradise Honors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cleveland, they will square off against Doherty at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
