Volleyball Recap: Ridge View Comes Up Short

After flying high against Airport two weeks ago, Ridge View came back down to earth. The Blazers came up short against the Carolina Forest Panthers on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-8.

Carolina Forest was led to victory by Erion Tabaku and Alex Nikolov. Tabaku had six aces and two blocks, while Nikolov had 17 digs and two aces. Those two blocks gave Tabaku a new career-high.

Ridge View's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Carolina Forest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Ridge View nor Carolina Forest have any future games scheduled.
