It was a good run, but Clinton Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Plaza Heights Christian Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

Robey Kisner paced Clinton Christian Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Kisner got some help from Hadley Brewer and her five assists. Mayme Hyke controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Plaza Heights Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Halle Korth led the charge by getting eight digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Kinley Brown, who had six assists and five aces.

Clinton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-5-1. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-1.
