Basketball Recap: Dream City Christian National Find Success

Dream City Christian National's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 victory over Pan-American. Given Dream City Christian National's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Pan-American is ranked 189th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dream City Christian National is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for Pan-American, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Dream City Christian National does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pan-American, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Imagine Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Imagine Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.4 points per game this season.
