Basketball Game Preview: Beechwood Tigers vs. Bellevue Tigers

The Beechwood Tigers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Bellevue Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Beechwood is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Beechwood took a blow against Notre Dame Academy, falling 58-18. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Pandas are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Bellevue unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 67-47 to Newport Central Catholic.

Bellevue's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9. As for Beechwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Beechwood came up short against Bellevue in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 39-34. Can Beechwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
