Southwest Learning Center falls to Albuquerque HomeSchool in first game of season

Southwest Learning Center had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Albuquerque HomeSchool on Friday, falling 34-2. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Southwest Learning Center in their matchups with Albuquerque HomeSchool: they've now lost five in a row.

Albuquerque HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avory A out in front who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Reyah A, who scored eight points.

The win for Albuquerque HomeSchool keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Learning Center will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Albuquerque HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on February 29th. As for Albuquerque HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against South Valley Academy at 4:30 p.m. Albuquerque HomeSchool is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so South Valley Academy is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
